Trust...

Trust - firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

When I look back to 2020, as a new believer I'll admit that I was lacking of trust. Only because I've been so dependent on my own self. In my own abilities. In my own timing. I knew God could do anything but I was lacking trust that He would do something. I know the devil will put thoughts in my mind to make me doubt or lack of trust but I believe that learning how to trust also comes within you. For me I think my lack of trust comes from the fact that I am impatient. The more I wait, the less confident I get. Which makes me doubt and trust less. I am quickly learning though that God will do things but always on His time.

When you believe in God and you look at the world today, you see evil. Evil is everywhere. We may not agree on everything, but I think we can all agree that the world has gone mad. It is dark and evil here. Things that should not be happening, are happening. From government corruption to fake news to human trafficking and God knows what else. It's always been here but it seems like God is shining His light on it.

We just have to trust that God is working for the good of His children. And trust in His timing. In the end of day, God is our only hope. In Him alone we can trust. Pray about it, talk to God every day! The more you pray and talk with God, the more you will know Him. The more you know Him, the more you will trust in Him.
