It's been a while!! First of all, happy new year to you all! I speak peace and joy over you and may you grow closer to God this year and seek Him in everything you do. So at new years eve, we had a get together which ended up the quite powerful evening with prayers and worship. I can't think of a better way to start the new year :). A friend of mine shared with us that evening that every year she asks God to give her a word for the year and I decided to do the same. God gave me the word love. I was not surprised. In the last few years, I've put on some weight and sometimes, I can be hard on myself. And I feel like God is pushing me to see myself the way He sees me. And not just myself but others as well. It is easy to love the ones you get along with. But what about the ones who gives you a hard time, or people who make fun of you because of your faith in Jesus. I also think He wants me to gain a better understanding of His love. This entry is short and sweet but I challenge you to do the same! Ask God to give you a word for the year and see what God does with that word. God bless, Nancy xo
